Austin Scooter Club

Whole Foods is graciously hosting a scooter night Wednesday, June 17. Meet at Vespa Austin at 6 p.m. to ride there as a group.

Logan and Stacy have also put together a tubing adventure! They will lead a 1.5 hour ride down to New Braunfels on Saturday June 20. The itinerary is as follows:

9 a.m.: Meet at Torchy’s Trailer Park on South First and El Paso.
10 a.m.: Kickstands up!
11:30 a.m.: Arrive at New Braunfels’ Prince Solms Park for inner tubing.

The group will ride the river a couple times, stop for food, then scoot home. This will be an all day event limited to 125cc and up. Please bring at least $10 cash to pay for the inner tube rental. Feel free to bring snacks and beverages.  Don’t forget your sunblock and some dry clothes!

The North Texas Lakes Rally is this weekend. Everyone be safe and take loads of pictures!

Monday is National Ride to Work Day. Dust off your seats, air up your tires, and drive your scooter to work.  It’s time to show the cagers who really owns the road.  Vespa Austin is hosting a meetup to help promote the use of two wheelers as commuter vehicles.  Meet at Vespa Austin at 8 a.m. Monday morning and ride to Taco Shack for some free breakfast tacos!
