The 3rd Annual Riff Raff Austin Scooter Rally Is Only Two Weeks Away!

September 23-25 is the weekend when the annual Austin scooter rally organized by the Riff Raff Scooter Club will be going on. With over 100 scooter enthusiasts already pre-registered, this rally is destined to be bigger and better than the previous years.

Don’t miss out on the fun and memories this year by pre-registering now at the The Good, The Bad and The Rally website. The Riff Raff Scooter Club is hosting The 3rd Annual Austin Scooter Rally on the last weekend in September. Registration is $40 and includes: food, drink, T-shirt, rally patch, and swag bag. Austin Scooter Club has been invited to a free special advance screening of Larry Crowne on Tuesday, June 28th at 7:30pm.

In the film, Larry Crowne joins a scooter club! Join us for this FREE event. If you are reading this, then you are invited! We have been given priority seating and immediate access to this special advance screening to those who arrive by 6:30pm on Tuesday with our exclusive epass. Download your epass here, print it out, and meet us at Regal Cinema on Stonelake Blvd to see Larry Crowne before the release date.

If you would like to attend this event, then please make sure to review all of the info on the epass and arrive early. Seats are not guaranteed, and they are first-come, first-served. The 2nd Central Texas Motorcycle Safety Fair will be Saturday, April 30, 2011 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Toney Burger Activity Center located at 3200 Jones Road in Austin. The free event is hosted by the City of Austin Police Department, Texas Department of Transportation, Texas Department of Public Safety, and Texas Transportation Institute.

The Fair’s theme is “Ride Safe. Ride SMART” promoting safety equipment use, getting licensed and trained, being alert and aware, riding responsibly, and obeying all traffic laws.

Those who come out to the fair can enjoy live music, free food and drinks, door prizes, a raffle drawing, and vendor giveaways. All proceeds will benefit the Society for Animal Rescue and Adoption (SARA) www.sarasanctuary.org.

Set your alarm clocks early for Sunday morning if you are volunteering for the Statesman Capitol 10K scooter ambassador team. Meet us at IHOP on Cesar Chavez and I-35 by 7 a.m. We know it’s early, but our participation should only take a couple hours. Thanks in advance to all of you who signed up to volunteer!
