The weather has been scorching hot for the past few months, and most of us are ready for summer to be over. Come on out and get a nice morning ride in before the temperature gets unbearable. The group will depart at 10AM from Jo’s Coffee at 1300 S Congress St so arrive early if you want to have some breakfast before we leave. Eric is leading and anticipates the cruise around town will last a couple hours. The ride will finish at Austin Java at Enfield and Lamar and is open to scooters of all engine sizes.

Even though it’s Fourth of July weekend, it is time for the Austin Scooter Club to beat the heat together. There is no better way to do this except go swimming in a pool that is 68 degrees year round. That’s right—Barton Springs Pool.

The itinerary is as follows:
10:30 AM: Meet at Jo’s Coffee on South Congress
11 AM: Go for a short in town ride.
12 noon: Stop at P. Terry’s Hamburgers on N. Lamar to get a bite to eat
1 PM: Head to Barton Springs Pool for some fun in the sun.
This is an in-town ride. 50cc scooters can attend. Everyone bring your helmet, sunblock, and your bathing suit. I’ll see everyone there!
If you plan on attending, then please post on the thread for this event in the Meetups section of the Forum.
Also, the club page on Meetup.com will disappear completely in three days. ¡Adios!
