Austin Scooter Club

The Third Friday ride will be postponed this week.  Rain has been predicted for Friday, so I would rather not  take the chance of having to cancel plans at the last minute.  Ride safe and stay dry.

For February, we will be returning to some of Austin Scooter Club’s favorite places. We’ll enjoy some delicious and classy tacos at Izzoz, go for a nice 50cc friendly cruise around Central Austin, and end at the Pour House Pub on Burnet in the Brentwood neighborhood. Eric will be leading the ride so keep an eye out for his brown and orange Vespa P200 at Izzoz.

Agenda

6:00 PM: Meet at Izzoz Tacos at 1207 S 1st Street in the heart of 78704.
7:00 PM: Go on a cruise around Central Austin.
8:30 PM: End at the Pour House Pub on Burnet Rd.

Don’t forget to wear your helmet and windproof jacket. We’ll see you on Friday!

Even though it is no longer the real third Friday of this month, we will be hosting our Third Friday ride in a few days.  The plans for the ride are still the same as the previous post. Hope to see you there!

6 PM: Meet at Asia Café at 8650 Spicewood Springs Rd #114A for some tasty and authentic Chinese food.
7 PM: Go for a nice ride. Ian will be leading us on an adventure through the Spicewood Springs and Volente areas of town.
9 PM* : Finish our ride at Hideout Pub at 12164 N Mo Pac Expy with some cold beverages.

The Austin Scooter Club will be hosting a group ride every third Friday of the month. Now you can plan in advance to take off work, schedule a sitter, or do what you need to do to attend the club rides. The kickoff is this Friday, October 16th.

• Meet at Izzoz Tacos at 1207 S 1st Street starting at 5:30pm.
• Enjoy dinner & conversation from 5:30pm-6:30pm.
• Kickstands up at 6:45pm.
• Cruise around town. The weather is supposed to be sunny and mild, so bring a jacket if you get cold when it dips below 60°.
• End at the Pour House at 6701 Burnet Road.
