The Rally With No Name Starts Tomorrow

The rally badges have been laminated, and the bags have been filled with this year’s keepsakes. Check-in for the 5th Annual Austin Scooter Rally starts at 4pm on Friday at AF1 Racing/Vespa Austin. Shelby will lead a group ride at 3pm for the Early Birds.

It’s not too late for you to join in on the fun this weekend. A limited number of registrations are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Onsite registration is available for $45 cash. You will be eligible to participate in the group rides, gymkhana, slow race, and win awards and swag. You will also receive a badge, the red T-shirt, rally patch, and reusable bag with your registration. Bike raffle tickets are no longer available. The 2013 agenda is up at TheRallyWithNoName.com.

Group Ride to Vespa Austin Bike Night Today

Austin Scooter Club is hosting a group ride to the AF1/Vespa Austin Bike Night (2/6). The group is meeting for dinner tonight at P. Terry’s Burger Stand on North Lamar at 5:30. The ride starts at 6:30. The ride will last 45 minutes and end at AF1/Vespa Austin.  The group ride is open to all scooters. We hope to see you there!

Two group rides this weekend!!

Austin Scooter Club / Third Friday / Sunday Wine Scoot with Vespa Austin

Third Friday has arrived this month! Provided that the weather shows us some kindness, we will be meeting for a shorter city ride in the evening.

6pm: Meet at Chris’s Little Chicago for some authentic hot dogs at 3600 South Lamar. Look for Eric on his brown & orange Vespa.
7pm: Kickstands up! It’s time to ride.
8:30pm: End at the Draught House on Medical Arts for a round of beers.


Mandola's Winery

Vespa Austin is also hosting a ride out to Mandola’s Winery in Driftwood this Sunday. Consider joining the ride to pick up some local wine for the upcoming holidays with fellow scooter enthusiasts.  The ride is expected to last about a total of four hours.

12pm: Ride leaves from Vespa Austin at 1623 South Lamar.  The ride will leave on time, so please show up early.
4pm: Come back into town with vino.
